Anemomylos is a family-run taverna with a fabulous position right opposite the main beach of Elounda. For those driving in, it has its own parking area. The terrace is large and cool, offering a welcome refuge from the intense heat of the mid-day sun. The taverna is open from 9:30 in the morning, offering breakfasts and drinks and moves seamlessly through the day with lunches and evening meals. The menu covers all your needs in traditional Greek/Cretan style, slow cooked meat from the oven and fish dishes but also omelets, pizzas and pasta dishes. Vegetarians should sample the excellent Briam. Portions are very generous and the food is always attractively presented. Spyros and Maria have made friends with many customers, who come back year after year to a warm welcome and to enjoy the excellent food and first class service.
