This traditional tavern is in the tiny, quaint hamlet of Agios Konstantinos in the heart of the Lassithi Plateau. This is village dining at its best. All the ingredients are local, many their own (chickens, rabbits) and mostly organic and the young couple who own the place and work very hard, are truly hospitable. The menu changes almost daily to reflect the freshest and most seasonal. Meats are prepared in the wood oven and on the spit. At any given time you can have lamb, pork or chicken cooked long and slowly on the rotisserie. This is a perfect stop as you work your way around the Plateau!
