Restaurant YACHT CAFÉ (YACHT CAFÉ)

A sleek, modish addition to the waterfront dining scene opened in Gouves early last summer, but has now come into its own since veteran Chef Theo Petrakis took the culinary helm.  Look for an abundance of seafood plates, along with great pasta dishes with seafood or without (such as the quasi-Sicilian linguine with olives, capers, sun-dried tomatoes & cherry tomatoes). Leave room for one of his excellent  versions of class Italian desserts such as Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. Service is friendly and solicitous.The wine list is short and not too creative, but they have a very good value-for-money red house wine from Alexakis winery. An added treat is the live music duo playing classic rembetika and popular songs.
