Peri Orexeos means “about appetite” and you will need one to be able to eat all the delicious items. Dining is on two levels in an old renovated house with exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. Start with multi-grain brown bread and a Chef’s present of zucchini frittata. Most things are an innovative  twist on standard taverna fare, such as chicken burgers stuffed with cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, mini cabbage rolls stuffed with cracked wheat instead of rice and tomato fritters that are more like savoury donuts (loukoumades) or in season, the delightful spaghetti with tomato sauce and zucchini blossoms. House wines are their own private label and are excellent value.
