This tavern is perfect for families. Its' convenient location next to the Crete Aquarium and its' well-equipped playground on an expansive lawn makes it a must place to visit after an excursion there.  It is a ConCred certified establishment which guarantees high quality. There is pork and lamb in the wood oven and some excellent traditional cooked dishes such as lamb with stamnagathi (spiny chicory), rabbit in lemon sauce or goat in red sauce. The house wine decent.
