This popular café-bar is now also an upscale eatery and wine bar with an excellent selection of carnivorous delights and a good selection of labels from Greece and beyond. The indoor atmosphere exudes sophistication and an aura of well-mannered propriety that will appeal to the snob in everyone. Outdoor dining is just across from the seaside. For those who miss real American steaks, this IS the answer. They have all the cuts from Rib-eye to Sirloin but for my money, the ultimate is the T-bone. (And...Bless his soul, Chef Simos knows the meaning of Rare). Interesting salads and other American touches like spare ribs and baked potatoes with real sour cream are extra treats. Service is knowledgable and professional. A welcome addition to the Heraklion dining scene.
