The culinary experience in Heraklion is enriched each season with the re-opening of Brilliant Gourmet Restaurant. The unique aesthetics of the eye-catching, partly Art Deco, partly “industrialist” interior and distinctively elegant table appointments are surpassed only by the tempting high quality, very creative Cretan dishes of Chef Petros Kosmadakis and his team. As a starter, try the steamed mussels with ginger aroma and a lemon verbena saude or the apaki and sausage with fresh spring onions, sauteed with dry wine, honey and dark mustard. The mains are no less brilliant. Here you can choose between items on the grill or from the creative Cretan category such as  Lamb Noisettes wrapped in vine leaves, cooked in parchment with graviera, sun-dried tomatoes & wild fennel. Save room for dessert if you can. At least once a month there are special wine dinners.
