Although this tavern has been around for 6 years, it is still a well-kept secret in the Mastambas neighbourhood of Heraklion. The eclectic décor has been lovingly conceived with nostalgic memorabilia and many touches of genuine originality  The dining space is cosy with large windows, fireplace and an outside terrace for summer. It is traditional Cretan  uisine done very well, such as lamb or pork in the oven, and there are a few original house specialties such as the Apaki (smoked pork) with wild mushrooms in a wine sauce. Extremely friendly and efficient service.
