SILVA-DASKALAKI WINERY

The Daskalaki family has been producing wine since 1890 in the same location in the village of Siva, 18 km from Heraklion. Today, 70 acres of certified organic vineyards are cultivated using biodynamic farming methods. Emphasis is on local grape varieties in addition to some exciting blends with world cultivars. In recent years, the winery has been awarded 15 medals in various International wine competitions.

PEZA UNION

An agricultural cooperative since 1933, Peza Union produces both wines and olive oils. Five thousand tonnes of olive oil are produced annually from 1,100,000 trees, including a brand of organic olive oil. Innovations include the Tetra-prisma packaging for olive oil which protects the products much better. The top product is \\\"Liquid Gold\\\", an olive oil with an acidity of only 0,15-0,24.
